A tooth!?

I think there is a tooth finally in my mouth! I feel this thing that is sharp in my mouth! It just sticks up a little bit but it doesn't hurt right there anymore! The rest of my mouth still is hurting and I think there are more coming soon! I started chewing on Momma's nose sometimes and today I bit down. She told me "NO" and I was sad for a minute but I haven't tried it again. Sorry Momma!!

I have also figured out how to move- well I go in reverse... I back up on the floor and get really mad because I see something in front of me but I go backwards and can't get to it! Hopefully I can figure out how to go forwards so that I can get to the toys that I want. - AND get my kitties!! :) they don't know what they are in for!! I grab Cruisers tail often and he gets mad... today I got his paw and shook it- just like Nana tries to teach him to do!

I wave bye-bye to Momma when she leaves for work and yesterday waved to Daddy too! I wiggled my fingers at him even! I am getting too good!:) Momma is soo proud!

I am excited that I get to go see my Nana and Papa this weekend! It has been a long time since I've been to their house! I can't wait to show them all I can do now!

bye bye Mommy's car...

Mommy decided that it was getting too hard to get me in and out of my car seat in her car. She decided maybe we should try and sell her car and look for a bigger one. She listed it on this website called craigslist and a little while later someone called and wanted to look at it! Mommy and Daddy didn't think that people would be that interested!! Someone else called on Sunday while we were at church and after both people looked at it someone bought it! They let us take it home and wanted to bring it back to them on Monday so they could take it home to their daughter for her first car. Mommy cried and was sad to see her fun car go! She had Daddy take a few pictures of us in her car for the last time...

After we dropped off the car Mommy took Daddy's car and drove us home. Later that night she got me out of bed and put me in my carseat and we went and picked Daddy up from work. Mommy was worried I would want to be awake since I had slept but I went right back to bed without any problems. I'm such a good boy! :)

Since selling Mommy's car she and Daddy have been trying to decide if they want to buy another car or if we can make it work with just one. For now I think we can make it work so Mommy has just been driving me around in my little car! hehehe it is fun to drive around! Daddy pushes me really fast down the driveway and lets me 'drive' the rest of the way!! Mommy recorded me driving last night and will put the movie on youtube soon.

Mommy decided that we were going to go on a long walk today to run some errands and we walked to the courthouse to renew Daddy's license plate and then we went to the library. This was my FIRST trip to the library!! ( sorry Papa that we haven't gone sooner!!) I was soo good! Mommy walked around to look at a few things and I didn't make a sound! I just knew that I was supposed to be quiet!! I'm soo smart!:)

I am still working on my tooth... Mommy can feel it but it just won't break through the gum... It is causing me a lot of pain but Mommy holds me and helps make it better! I cry out MAMAMAMAMA!!! Daddy gets sad that it isn't Dadada but I will say his name soon! Hopefully ( for me not Mommy and Daddy) I can figure out crawling soon. I want to get moving soo badly but I just haven't figured it out yet! I am excited for this weekend to spend it with my Mommy and Daddy, I will try and sleep later... I usually get soo excited that I get to see them both all day that I wake them up early around 6am... I can't help it I just am soo happy they are both home!

This week started off with a milestone reached! I decided to roll from my back to my tummy. I wanted to show Daddy first that I could do it and then he woke Mommy up from her nap and then I showed her. I roll around on the floor but mostly just when Daddy is around. He thinks its funny, but I haven't decided if I wanna do it a lot with Mommy. I like when she helps me and holds me like a baby still. I keep tryin to move around on the floor by movin my feet too. I haven't figured out to put my knees up but I am trying to get around! I started moving around in my sleep too. Mommy lays me down and I move around and I get stuck sideways in my crib! I get mad then because my head is tight against my bumper... Mommy always rescues me tho! I love my Mommy.

Mommy also saw this week after many attempts to look in my mouth that I have a tooth FINALLY starting to come through! Every time she tries to look in my mouth I stick my tongue out at her. That is my newest favorite thing to do. I stick my tongue out all the time. Sometimes I blow and make silly sounds too! I love being a boy and making tooting sounds! I do it until I fall asleep at nap time and at night!

I have been enjoying going outside every day and go out with Daddy and Mommy and just enjoy riding in my car, swinging and going on long walks. I love the weather! I don't like when it rains and then we can't go outside. It is better when it rains when I sleep and then is sunny when I'm awake!

After Church Sunday April 18

I love life... It is soo much more than I could have ever expected! Watching this little guy grow up and learn things and explore is just amazing. I mean I have watched kids grow as I work at a preschool/daycare but nothing like this. It is just awesome to watch him discover himself and the world around him! I discovered a few weeks ago that his little mouth was looking a little different than it normally does. I asked a friend and she let me borrow some medicine to try on him. It wasn't making a difference so on Monday we made our first 'sick' visit to the Dr. We didn't see our normal doctor but that was ok. now from Aaron's perspective:

Mommy decided that my mouth was getting yuckier. She kept seeing white stuff on my tongue and it was moving to the inside of my cheeks and lips. I was swinging and she decided to call the Dr. We went inside and changed my diaper and headed to the Dr (they had an apt 15 min after I called). We saw one of the girls that goes to Mommy's school and then we got called back. The nurse weighed me but with all my clothes on so it wasn't super right. She said I was close to 20 lbs if not right on. Then she took us to a room and checked my temp and held onto my wrist. Then a lady came into the room named Holli and she looked at my ears and in my mouth and said yep its Thrush... She gave Mommy a paper to go get medicine for me and Mommy so that we can get rid of it! The medicine tastes kinda yucky but Mommy thinks it is helping already! I have to have it on my mouth 4 times a day!! Hopefully if it goes away soon I won't have to use it much longer!

Tuesday Mommy and Daddy didn't know what to do with me! It was raining outside so we couldn't go out and play! We have not had rain in a long time and so we have been playing outside almost every day! We played on the floor and I got to jump in my jumper and it was a pretty good day even if we couldn't go outside!

Mommy told me today that I get to go see my Nana and Papa this weekend! I am very excited to see them again! It has been a while and I miss them! I will have to show them my new tricks and maybe I will learn something new before I go see them! I am trying to roll over from my back but I haven't quite got it figured out yet! OH AND I am gonna get a new cousin soon!! He is supposed to come any day now so I am excited to find out when HE is here! I will get to see him in June since he lives in South Dakota where my Oma and Opa live.

7 months old!

I had a small accident at Church last Sunday and they changed my outfit, Mommy didn't like my outfit so when we got home she took it off me. I was soo tired so she just put me to bed in my diaper. I like to kick my legs up and so I kicked my blanket off and fell asleep!

I am trying to become mobile! I want to move around but I just can't quite figure it out yet! When I'm on my tummy I move backwards instead of forwards. I roll from my tummy to back and then move to my sides but don't quite get back over to my tummy. Daddy is trying to teach me to stand on my own. Today he stood me up by the ottoman and helped me hold on and I stood there without him holding onto me for about 5 seconds.

I love that it is warm outside and love to be outside all the time! Daddy takes me out in the morning and I sit in my car while he gets some projects done like mowing the lawn or painting. Then after lunch and my nap Mommy takes me outside and we usually go on a walk around the neighborhood and then walk up and down the driveway and around the yard. I take a break and swing for a little while and sometimes just play in the grass too! I get mad when we hae to go inside but by then I'm about ready for bed!

Mommy got me some new toys this week at a consignment sale. She got me my first tool box- it is a cloth box with a soft hammer, screw driver, and a wrench. Its fun to hammer things! She also got me a glow worm! It is soo neat! When I wake up at night Mommy pushes the glow worms tummy and it lights up and plays me music. I also got a few soft books that I can chew on and touch! I love getting new toys!

I started eating carrots, bananas, green beans and pears recently! I try and take bites of Mommy's pear when she is eating it. I am going to try mangos soon too! I guess that is all I have for now! Mommy bought me a swimming pool today so hopefully I will get to use it soon!

Easter is soo much fun! First my Oma and Opa came and visited me and then my Nana and Papa stopped for a little while too! I got lots of neat things from Oma and Opa. They have made sure I will be fully clothed when I get bigger! My Nana and Papa gave me some awesome sunglasses and a ball and bucket! I am excited to play with my bucket and ball!!

I also went to the Dr last week and I now weigh 19lbs 4 oz and I am 27 1/4 inches long! My Dr said I am soo healthy and growing soo well! I got 2 more shots and cried after the first one but I calmed down quickly after my Mommy picked me up.

Mommy realized last week that I do not like tomatoes. Whenever she eats spaghetti or things with tomato in them I spit up A LOT! As soon as she stopped eating them I stopped spitting up! Hopefully I will get used to them soon and she can eat that again!

I am going to lots of new places now that it is warm out! I went to the lake for the first time on Friday and enjoyed looking around. The water was still cold and I did not like it on my toes! We went to the park and I went on a real swing! I love the nice weather! Mommy and I play outside every day! She lets me ride in my car and we play in the grass too!

Some of my new tricks are I put both of my hands up to my mouth and puff up my cheeks and blow making beautiful boy noises! I can also blow raspberries when I want to. I am soo close to rolling from my back to my tummy! I can sit up for a while on my own but I get tired of it and fall backwards. I am now eating: peas, peaches, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, bananas, and banana puffs! I just tried carrots today and ate them right up! I guess that is about it for now!

Well I decided finally that I would roll over. I had done it a few times to tease Mommy and Daddy but now I do it more often! I still will fuss and cry if I don't feel like being on my tummy but eventually I either get rolled over or I roll over! I can also sit up now! Mommy has slowly been letting me sit without anything around me and on Friday last week she was taking my picture and I sat up by myself for almost 5 minutes! She was soo proud of me! I am getting to be soo big! Mommy said she's sad cuz I'm not her little baby anymore. But I can't be a little baby forever! I have started eating real food now! Mommy has given me sweet potatoes which I loved, and she gave me squash which I thought was yummy but I got a little rash from it so she stopped feeding me that! I have recently been eating avocado! It has a weird taste but I don't mind it! Mommy told me she was going to make me some peas tonite so I can try them tomorrow! On Saturday Daddy decided that since I could sit up I needed to ride in my car. Soo he got it down from the attic and strapped me in and took me for a ride in the driveway! I thought it was AWESOME!! I laughed and tried to steer with the steering wheel ( when I wasn't eating it!) And Daddy decided to try out my new big boy carseat. I still have to sit looking at the backseat but I am up higher and can see out the window now! And when we go into stored either Daddy or Mommy holds me or I get to sit in the buggy! It is soo much fun! I am excited for next week cuz my Mommy told me today that my Oma and Opa are coming to see me! I think I will get to see my Nana and Papa too!! That should be really fun!! I also have to go to the doctor to get some more nasty shots but I will see how big I am getting too! Mommy thinks I am very tall! We will find out!
