I have been soo busy with my family and everything I haven't had time to tell whats been going on! I went to my 2 month doctors appointment at 10 weeks old and I weighed 14lbs 12oz! Ive also grown to be 23 3/4 inches long! I am really growing! I had so much fun with my family for Thanksgiving! My Nana and Papa came to see me as well as my Aunt Kristy and Uncle Barry! I watched them make the food and then I went on a walk after everyone stuffed themselves! When everyone was playing games my Nana decided she needed some help with a game and gave me a pen so I could help her write down some answers! I was a good helper! We went shopping the day after thanksgiving and my Mommy carried me around in a snugglie ( a carrier that I sit in on the front of her), and then Kristy decided she wanted to try it out and carried me around in it for a while! Barry even tried to carry me in it but I fussed a bit and so he decided Kristy was better at it! I went to my first movie on Friday night, we went to Blindside! It was a really good movie and I enjoyed it but when it was bout 3/4 the way through I decided I was tired of sitting so I cried and Mommy had to stand up and hold me the rest of the movie! On Sunday I went to this strange class at church! Mommy called it the nursery. There were some other kids that were about my size but a little bit bigger than me but Mommy said I would be ok and she and Daddy left me there to play with the other kids! I was good and only started crying when it was time for them to come and get me! I might go again this week and see if any new people are there! THis past week my Daddy had to work during the day so my Nana came to take care of me! She watched me on Tuesday -Friday! I had soo much fun with her! She sings me all sorts of silly songs and tells me "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands!" I am not quite sure what to do yet but she shows me and I smile at her! I helped her and Mommy make a puzzle too! I love to smile and laugh at her so we have a fun time! Thanks for watching me Nana!! I will miss you next week! I also have really enjoyed looking and talking to my Christmas tree! Mommy and Daddy decided they needed to put up the tree in our house even though they usually don't put it up! I LOVE to sit and watch it and have conversations with it each morning! My kitty Cruiser thinks it is a toy and gets in trouble a lot for playing with it but I love it!

Some of my new tricks are: Standing up on peoples laps and looking around! I love this and it usually calms me down!

I completed 24 sit ups today! ( my highest amount before was 12)

I eat my hands all the time and today I really noticed them and was looking at them and inspecting them rather than just eating them!

Nana said I am reaching for items! Mommy hasn't seen it too much yet but I am working on it!

I am sleeping 5-8 hours at a time at night! Mommy is glad for this but she wishes that it was 8 hours more nights! :)

I guess that is about all for now! I wanna roll over but can't quite figure it out yet! I will try and keep everyone posted on my happenings! I am going to try and write my Christmas letter tonite but I don't know how much I will get done!

I am getting soo big! Mommy measured me the other day and I am almost 24 inches!! She weighed me too and I am about 13 lbs if not more! I am going to the Dr next week and we will get some exact measurements but I am for sure getting bigger! I didn't have a too eventful rest of last week. I love spending my mornings with my Daddy and he is really enjoying it with me too! He has figured out how to hold me and sing to me to calm me down!I am trying to be really good for him but some days I just have a bad day and cry... I have recently discovered my fingers and hands! I LOVE to put them in my mouth! I am holding onto different things as well as being more aware of what is going on around me! I am talking to people a lot more and making lots of sounds and smiling a lot! I also have been working hard during tummy time and am holding my head up soo good now! My Mommy put me in my bumbo seat last night and I sat up holding my head up for quite a while! Then I realized I was in this plastic seat and didn't like it any more! I really like to stand up in peoples laps too. When I am getting upset if you stand me up I get really happy! I do my situps every day and so my tummy is getting stronger too! On Friday Mommy and Daddy decided that we would go on a short trip and at first we were going to go to Sieverville or something like that and go to some stores but then they decided that we would go see my Aunt Kristy and Uncle Barry! We left on Saturday morning and drove to Lebanon Tennessee. We drove through some mountains and Mommy was nervous about having some rocks fall as lots had been falling earlier in the week. We made it through without any problems. Mommy was soo glad we went too because she got her Dunkin Donuts for breakfast! (even though they didn't have the best kind- maybe next time) We went shopping at the outlet mall and then hung out at Kristy and Barry's house. We even went on a short walk! While we were getting ready on Sunday morning Mommy was feeding me and I starting pooping and Mommy thought I was just tooting as she felt my diaper moving. Well surprise I pooped out of the back of my diaper and my outfit was covered! It even got on Mommy's pants! Mommy didn't remember she had packed me some other clothes so I just wore my pj's to church! Good thing that they were cute! Mommy thought of taking me to the nursery since I had just ate but she couldn't leave me with anyone else yet... I loved the music like always and did soo good in the service! Some girls came up to me after the service and had to tell me how cute I was and that they saw my hair during the service and had to come see me! I had a fun time visiting Kristy and Barry and can't wait for them to come to my house again for Thanksgiving! I visited Mommy at work on Monday and got to meet a couple more people that work with Mommy! Everyone says "I can't believe how much hair he has!" One person said 'no white baby ever has this much hair!' hahaha well I do and I am white!! :) It was a good week and I am glad that I am getting stronger and can hold up my own head! (even though it makes Mommy sad that I am growing up so fast!)

Mommy was telling me last night that I am 2 months old! She was telling me about waiting to go to the hospital to get me out of her tummy! She was soo glad to have me in her arms instead of waiting to go and meet me!

I had such a crazy week last week! Mommy got to stay home from work on Wednesday and hang out with me and Daddy in the morning. After Daddy left for work, Mommy and I got ready and went to have lunch with him then headed off to the photographers house! I was hungry when we got there so Mommy fed me and tried to get me to fall asleep but I wanted to be awake! I was soo excited to see everything that I did not sleep! We started taking pictures laying down on a bed and I was smiling and enjoying it! I got sad after a little bit of it and while Mommy was comforting me, she and the photographer started talking... I got bored and fell asleep which is just what they wanted me to do! Then we took a few more pictures on the bed then moved to another room and took pictures of Mommy holding me! The photographer thought they were all beautiful!:) He is supposed to put a few of them up on his blog which is http://canslerblog.com/. Hopefully he puts them up soon so we can see them! On Thursday Daddy and I were out running around and decided to go visit Mommy at work! Everyone there thinks I am soo cute so I don't mind!:) On Saturday our family went to Chattanooga to go shopping. Daddy got a blower to blow the leaves out of the yard and he was excited to try it out! Mommy and I went home when Daddy went to work and found out that my Nana and Papa were coming to see me! I was excited to see them! I told them lots of stories and made lots of funny faces at them! My Nana said that I make so many funny faces! On Sunday we went to church and then I took a nap when I woke up we got ready to go for a little drive to see my cousins Emma, Luke and Caleb! I was soo excited to see them! It was my cousin Caleb's birthday and so everyone had some cake except me:( I was sad but everyone said I could have some in about 10 months... I can't wait! Monday was a Monday and even though it was my 2 month birthday I was tired and wanted to sleep! I have been enjoying my life and can't wait for many more months of life... I figure if life is this good at 2 months it can only get better!

It has been a fun week... on Wednesday October 28th mommy had to go back to have her six week follow up... While at the doctor all the nurses decided that I was just too cute! They are having new pictures made for their office and decided that since I was soo cute and that my mommy is pretty that we should be used for the pictures! We will be going to have professional pictures taken on Wednesday Nov.4... Mommy is excited and proud of me for being cute! I hope that my hair is cool for the pictures since that is my most noticed feature! :) The rest of the week was pretty quiet. We ran errands as normal. Mommy was worried about me for a couple of days because I kept spitting up! I would eat and then a little while later spit up and Mommy thought it was that she was eating bad foods but no matter what it seemed like I just kept spitting up. Mommy figured out that I just need to burp a couple of times after I eat and then I do better! My I decided that I can take longer go eat at night time and ate at 10pm then didn't get up until 3am. With the time change it meant I waited about 5 hours! I usually go to sleep around 11 but at least I am letting Mommy sleep a little while longer! On Sunday morning Daddy wasn't feeling good so Mommy went to get medicine and I hung out with my Nana... I was talking to her and having a good time until I got hungry. She helped me wait until Mommy came home to feed me! I did good at church and almost made it through the whole service. Mommy took me out and lots of older ladies talked to us and thought I was cute! Monday was Mommy's first day back to work. I was sad to have her leave me but I think she was more sad to leave me! I did pretty good staying with Daddy. I wanted to eat two times and almost didn't have enough milk but Daddy made it work. I was happy to see Mommy when she came home and was anxious to eat! I think that I will be ok to stay at home with Daddy but I hope that he can get his new job so Mommy can stay with me too... I don't like having to share her with other kids! A lot has happened in my life in the last week! On Wednesday I had my second Hepatitis B shot. I also got weighed and with my clothes on and a slightly wet diaper I was 12 lbs and 10oz! I know I have grown but I didn't think I was that big!:P Mommy and I have been going on walks every afternoon. We let Daddy come sometimes but usually leave after he goes to work. We have been going farther and discovering more of our neighborhood and have really enjoyed the changing colors of the leaves! It has been a little cold out when we go but Mommy bundles me up so I don't get too cold! On Thursday we went to get our first family pictures made. I was awake the whole time and even though I didn't smile we got some good pictures! Mommy took me to a consignment sale again and we got a few more good things. I was really hungry when we left so Mommy decided to feed me in the car, I got really hot and while I was trying to eat I spit up all my milk all over me and Mommy! Mommy turned some cold air on me and blasted me in the face to cool off. Then Mommy only had one outfit for me and it was a newborn size. Needless to say I have grown quite a bit and the outfit that was supposed to be long sleeved and long pants was 3/4 length sleeved and capris! Mommy and Daddy laughed at me but oh well at least I had clothes on! On Saturday Mommy and Daddy took me to a yard sale for a TV show called Clean House... I saw the famous people who are on the show and even though we didn't find any good things to buy it was fun to go to! We went to Chick-fil-A for lunch and Mommy discovered later on that night that I do NOT like it! (SORRY PAPA!!!) I spit up a lot and after I got it out I was fine! We went to church on Sunday and I was quiet the whole service! I went to Sunday School with Mommy and Daddy and everyone was excited to see me again and meet me! I went to lunch with my girlfriend (and our families) and then hung out with Mommy and Daddy! I had my 6 week old pictures made today and I did not want to cooperate. I was tired hungry but we got a few good pictures! Mommy got some good pictures of me smiling once we got home though! Well...until next week...

I'm 5 weeks old!

Ready for Church

So Aaron is now 5 weeks old! I cant believe how fast the time has gone! We are really loving having him in our house and are enjoying every aspect of being parents! He is a really good baby! He LOVES to eat... and wants to do it all the time! It can be hard on Mommy when she is trying to get things done and has to stop a lot and feed him or when we are out to eat or at church etc! We usually are just creative and find a place to feed him. I wish more places would have places for breastfeeding mothers... At target the other day we went into the FAMILY bathroom which should imply a chair or something for you to sit on to feed or for any other reason but there was nothing! A toilet and a changing table... Soo I thought about sitting on the toilet but then thought that would be too weird so we stood up... This gets to be pretty hard when you have a 10lb baby you are trying to hold onto for 10 min or so without anything to support yourself on! You would think that as long as people have been breastfeeding that places would have an area for nursing mothers! I guess we will continue to have to be creative with how we feed him!:) Tomorrow we go to the Dr for Aaron's second hepatitis B shot and see how big he has gotten in the last month! I can't wait to see how big he is now! I really am apprehensive about the next week... It will be my last week at home with Aaron... I will go back to work on November 2nd part time UNLESS Andrew gets his promotion before then! There is a possibility of that but until we know for sure I will be working from 8:45-12:15 M-F... It will be SOOO hard to leave him even if it is with his Daddy! anyway... He has now woken up and is hungry so I better go... Until next week....

One Day old
Right after he was born!
So I know its been a while but Aaron is here! He was born September 14,2009 at 6:35pm... He was 8lb 14oz and 20 1/4 in long. He is such a good boy! We are loving having him in our house! Nana and Papa were with us when he was born and it was great to have them to support us and help us out! They came back on the weekend as well as Kristy and Barry, Melissa, Emma, Luke and Caleb and Jeremy even made the long trip from South Dakota to see us! IT was a wonderful weekend and we really enjoyed having everyone at our house! Aaron was a little bit jaundiced but we tried to get him out in the sun ( when it wasn't raining) but we got about 12 inches of rain the week after he was born! The hospital even was surrounded by water so if he had been born a week later we would have had to take a boat to get home! :P During Aaron's third week of life his Oma and Opa and aunt Audrey came to visit from South Dakota. We were busy the whole week they were here going to many different places. Then Aaron took his first major road trip and we went to West Virginia for his cousin's birthday! He has already been to Georgia, Virginia and West Virginia! More than most people have been to! :) He is truly a blessing and we are loving having him in our life! I will try and update weekly on his life!
