CRIB!

We decided that we would put the crib together since Andrew finished it. It didn't take us too long and now we are one step closer to being ready! Now we just have to wait for September! We can't wait to meet our baby in September!

Dr appointment

We went to the doctor today and heard the baby's heartbeat again. It is still in the 160's and he said it sounded great! While we were listening to the heartbeat there was a thud and he said that was the baby moving around. I think it was waving to us again! :) I only gained one pound and he said that was really good. I go back again in three weeks, but he said we won't do an ultrasound for six weeks. I was bummed because we thought we could find out soon if we are having a boy or a girl but I guess we have to wait a little bit longer! Hopefully we will find out before we leave for South Dakota. We figured it would be that week that we would find out. He said that it would be fine for us to drive and that I would just have to get out and walk every few hours so that will make it take a little bit longer but thats ok. Everything else is going well. It seems strange that I only gained one pound but none of my regular pants fit and I have to wear maternity pants now.

With the heartbeat

We got to see Lil P again at the doctor today. He decided that was the best way to hear its heartbeat. The whole Pusch family is here visiting us from South Dakota so they got to come in the room and see the ultrasound too! It is amazing how much has changed in the last 4 weeks! The baby waved at us and was moving all around! It was awesome and we were again amazed and soo excited to see the baby! Still not much growth on my part but hopefully soon we will be seeing some baby growth in my body too! 

We had our first doctors appointment today! We had an ultrasound as well as other unfun things! We got to hear the heartbeat as well as see our little baby! It was soo great to see this little life and actually hear its heartbeat as well!!

Andrew has been sanding away working on an old desk that will be used for a changing table as well as an old crib we found at a yard sale. He is sanding it down and will be re-staining it so it is new and fresh for the little baby!  He does a great job! We are going to the Doctor next week and we are excited to find out our exact due date and get this whole party started:)  Here is Andrew practicing with Cruiser with the snuggli, as well as a rocking chair and the desk and crib.

Welcome to our blog! We are expecting our first child in  September. We are soo excited and can't wait to meet this little blessing! We are going for our first Doctors appointment February 2 and will hopefully get our first glimpse of this beautiful blessing! I will post the picture as soon as we get it! We are really excited for this baby and can't wait for everyone to meet our blessing!
