Sick Boy...

Wednesday I started to get a cough... I had a hard time sleeping because I just kept coughing. I wasn't too bad on Thursday or Friday tho just coughing occasionally. On Saturday morning Momma noticed I was kinda wheezing and it slowly got worse. I was having a harder time breathing. Momma called the doctor and we headed in to get checked out. The Dr checked me for RSV by putting stuff up my nose and then made me breath in this smokey stuff. It was coming out of a choo choo train that was kind of loud. I think Momma called it a nebulizer. I didn't have RSV but the Doctor said that I needed to take more nebulizer medicine. We went to a store to get some and then headed home. Momma rocked me and helped me get some sleep but I struggled to stay asleep. I took some more medicine and took another nap. Momma and Dada snuggled with me all night. Momma held me all night on Saturday while I slept and comforted me when I was fussy and couldn't sleep. We got up on Sunday to have another nebulizer treatment and eat some breakfast. We stayed home from church so that I could get more rest and not get other people sick. We laid around and I slept on and off and played some with Dada while Momma took a nap. After I took another nap Momma put my monkey costume on me and we went and got a little candy. She worked so hard on my monkey I just had to wear it! We came home and I went to bed and slept all night without any problems! When I woke up I was full of energy on Monday! Momma got to stay home all day because she doesn't have to go to work anymore ( they laid her off) soo I had soo much fun with her and Dada! I slept some and Momma and Dada worked in the house. I am feeling better and was walking all around today! I love to sing "lalala" all the time too! On top of being sick I also have gotten a few more teeth! I now have 9 teeth! Hopefully after I get better I will be able to just play and have a good time!

WALKING!!

Soo it all started a few weeks ago when Aaron decided to let go of whatever he was holding onto to stand by himself... Then in the past week or so he'd take a half step in between two things to hold onto... We tried to convince him he needed to be walking before we went to his cousins last weekend but he didn't listen:)... he has too much fun pushing different items around and walking behind them... the laundry basket, his little hippo, a basketball hoop, a car really anything he can stand behind and push. Today tho he decided to take a few more steps... While holding the remote control he saw his big red ball, and decided to walk to it. He took 4 steps to get to it and then plopped down. He wouldn't walk to me when I tried to get him to do it again but then he took 5 more steps... then grabbed my shoes and socks and took a few more... He is slowly taking a few more steps at a time... He is still wobbly and either cruises or crawls but it is progress and in the next few weeks I have a feeling he is gonna wear us out! We are excited for this new stage and a little worried about what he might get into. Ahh toddlerhood... hmm what happened to my little boy? He will be 13 months tomorrow and is soo big! I can't believe how fast the time has gone...

Standing Tall

I am getting soo strong! I can stand by myself now! I like to do it all the time. I pull up on anything and everything and then let go and play with toys or just stand there! The other day while I was playing outside with Daddy I climbed up the steps to the deck and crawled around and played. Momma and Daddy are anxious for me to start walking. They think it is going to happen sometime soon! I may just surprise them one day and do it, or I will wait a little while. I just want to keep everyone on their toes!

Momma has been watching her friends kids more often now. I like to play with them and it is nice to have kids my age around. My buddy Maddox and I like to play with each other and sometimes play well together and other times fight each other! We have fun together! I am going to his birthday party this weekend ( hopefully) and can't wait to play some more!

Daddy has been working more so that he can get promoted. Then Momma won't have to work! and Daddy can come home early and we can all be together more! It would be really nice! We keep praying that God will provide that job for him and we can spend more time together!

It has started to get cooler outside and I am loving playing outside and riding in my wagon! I am trying to get used to wearing pants and crawling around. I slide around a lot but maybe if I walk soon I won't have a problem with it!

Oh I went to the Dr last week and I now weigh 22lbs 2 oz and I am 30 3/4 inches. That means in my first year I grew 10 1/2 inches and gained about 14lbs! I still love to eat everything! I have been drinking some regular milk and Momma puts a little chocolate in it!

Next week we are going to West Virginia to celebrate my cousin's birthday! I can't wait!

I'm ONE!!!

I can't believe that it has been a year since my baby was born! It doesn't seem like that much time has gone by! We have had such an amazing year! It has been filled with soo much joy! For the most part we have had such an easygoing baby! He has had his moments of meanness but for the most part is one of the happiest babies I've ever met! It is just so amazing to see how he has changed and grown in the past year. Today we went and got donuts for breakfast and Aaron enjoyed some blueberry donut holes! Then he got to go with Daddy to get the oil changed in the car ( fun fun! he had fun and got a balloon! ) He and Daddy picked Momma up from work and headed to lunch at Beef O'Brady's. Since it was his birthday we got a special dessert and Aaron enjoyed eating some chocolate pie! We went to Daddy's work to say Hi to everyone and everyone was excited to see Aaron and wish him a happy birthday! Momma decided we should go visit the Choo Choo and we went to go on a Trolly ride. We had to wait for a little bit so we walked around and looked at roses and got sprayed by some water. The trolly ride wasn't super exciting but it was interesting to ride on and at least say we have been on it! We came home after that and Aaron played with his toys. We ate ravioli for dinner and then Aaron had a little cupcake. He picked it right up and devoured it! It was like the best thing he had ever had! He made quite a mess too! He even licked his fingers as he was finishing up! What a silly boy! He enjoyed a bath and off to bed for him! It was an amazing day and a great way to celebrate such a special boys life! I can't wait to see how he will grow and change in this next year! I love him soo much and am soo blessed to have him in my life!

We have been having fun playing outside and inside when its hot. Playing with some other kids ( Momma is watching her friend's 3 kids a couple times a week), going on walks and discovering lots of fun things! I LOVE to play outside and pull weeds and crawl around the yard. I love to ride in my stroller or car and would do it all day long if it didn't get so hot out! I now have 5 teeth almost 6! I love to 'talk' and make lots of sounds all day long! One of my favorites is babybabybaby over and over! I love to open the oven drawer and pull out some pots to bang around. I then use my potato masher and bang on the floor! I climb up to on the Wii fit balance board to get closer to the tv and inspect it frequently. I play with the shower door and all other doors, opening and closing them. I also have discovered making a smacking sound and if you kiss me I start to smack my lips together! I LOVE being a boy and discovering everything around me!

After only having two teeth for months I finally decided I wanted some more. Too bad 4 of them decided to come at once! It hurts!! Two have just barely broken through my gums but haven't come in very far. Momma puts a necklace on me that is made of amber that helps to calm me ( well it is supposed to at least). There are still times that it hurts bad and she gives me a little medicine to help ease the pain.

I am crawling and getting into EVERYTHING! I LOVE my new way of getting around! I can go pretty fast and in the morning when Daddy takes me in the kitchen to make coffee I 'run' away and go find Momma getting ready for work! I then pull up on the potty and try and lift the lid, or open the shower doors and play with the water from the shower. I love to try and get my kitties too. They aren't too happy that I can crawl after them! :) hehe just wait til I run!! I pull up on just about anything I can and 'walk' while holding onto whatever I pulled up on.

It has been really hot all day and night. When we get up in the morning to go walking it is usually around 80 degrees ( and it is usually around 6am). It only gets hotter during the day. I wish it wasn't soo hot cuz I LOVE to be outside! Momma and I played in a sprinkler last week but I didn't care for it too much. She let me sit in my pool for a little bit but then I tried to crawl out so we were done.

I will have my Momma take a picture of my smile as soon as my teeth are showing more! My birthday party is coming soon! I can't wait! Momma says she is sad her baby boy is growing up so fast! She is planning and making stuff for my party! I can't wait to go swimming again! I hope everyone can come and play with me!

It's been a while since we've updated on our lives! We have been slightly busy. A few highlights of the month: we've gone to the lake a few times and swam, we've at LOTS of ice cream and Watermelon ( Aaron's favorites!), we had a yard sale at Nana's house and sold quite a bit of things! , we have walked around a lot- every morning around the neighborhood as well as to various stores around our house. Aaron is also talking to us a lot more! He has loooong streams of various sounds! He now is saying lala, nana, yaya, as well as his other dada, mama, gaga, baba's. He waves ALL the time even if no one is around! He is feeding himself almost all of his meals. He likes toast for breakfast or pancakes or cheerios, and he eats veggies and beans or whatever we are eating! He learned how to drink out of a straw a few weeks ago and enjoys drinking his water from a straw (this also makes it easy when we go out for a meal because we just get him a glass of water to drink). Just this past week he learned how to go from his tummy to sitting and then pulling up on EVERYTHING! He likes to mostly pull up on Momma or Daddy and the worst habit of all in his crib! We have struggled the past week to get him to sleep because of this! It has been a rough time but we are hopefully getting past it! ( I can only hope I am tired!!) Just this week Aaron has become more mobile! He doesn't crawl a typical crawl but sits like he is gonna crawl and pulls himself along. It is cute but gets him into trouble of course! He is getting into a lot of things and we are working on keeping non baby things out of his reach! It is a fun time! We are going to Nana and Papa's house this weekend to celebrate birthdays in July ( Aaron's cousin Luke, Aunt Kristy, and Momma's!!) We told Aaron he had to figure out crawling or walking by this weekend or his cousins would leave him in the dust so he listened and figured it out! Hopefully he can try and keep up with them a little bit! Well that's a summary of the month so far! I will update with pictures of our weekend!
